Founder/Owner Real Talk: Amber Esposito

Amber Esposito has been practicing law for 15 years and after spending 12 of those years  defending corporate clients, she decided it was time to get back to the real reason she chose to get into this field – to be the voice for those who were voiceless. She recalls seeing the life she has now as a litigator as a mere pipe dream, but as the first person in her family to graduate college she has made that pipe dream into a mission to help her community in Orange County. Esposito didn’t always know that personal injury law was the path that would eventually be set for her, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.

She likens her time defending insurance companies and corporations to “walking around with a pebble in my shoe”. The decision to turn her attention and time toward her community was not only incredibly easy but it also came from a place of admiration she has for it. “I love that everyone [here] looks out for the next person. They care about their neighbors, their neighbor’s kids, and their families,” says Esposito. “Lifting others up means lifting yourself up too.” While we are well into the 21st century, being a female civil litigator is still an uncommon occurrence and is one of the very obvious reasons that Esposito stands out in the sea of her professional peers. Not only is she one of the small handful of female litigators in her area, she also has an ace up her sleeve as a former insurance defense lawyer and offers her clients the ability to come out in front of any of the defense’s plans and strategies.

At her core, Esposito leads her firm with compassion. She strongly believes that the most effective way to advocate for clients is to combine compassion with assertiveness – a combination that is seldom seen within law firms. Most personal injury firms are mills that look to churn out a large volume of cases and settle them as quickly as they take them on. Esposito couldn’t disagree (and dislike) this process more. “I know every single case, I know my client’s by their first name, and I know about their life. I have no hesitation bringing in more lawyers for lengthy, expensive cases even if that means splitting the cost.” There is little to no marketing that can be credited to Esposito's extensive client list. Just about all of her clients have been through word of mouth and there have been instances where she has been approached to defend clients outside the confines of personal injury. “In those cases, I am always happy to direct them to the right lawyer for their case.”

She and her staff understand that the aftermath of a personal injury extends far beyond the immediate physical harm, encompassing a wide range of financial, emotional, and long-term consequences. Esposito’s dedication to advocating for those who don’t have the ability to do so for themselves shows through the meticulous amounts of care she puts into her work and the millions of dollars she has successfully recovered on behalf of her clients. This success is not by chance but a result of Esposito’s unwavering dedication to those she represents. Her approach is characterized by a combination of compassion for her clients and a relentless pursuit of justice on their behalf.
