The El Capitan Theatre is a historic movie palace built in 1926 by Charles E. Toberman, who also built the Egyptian and Chinese theaters nearby. It is owned by The Walt Disney Company, which restored it to its original glory in 1991. The theater hosts exclusive Disney movie premieres and events, as well as regular screenings of Disney films with special features and interactive experiences. The El Capitan is also known for its lavish interior, ornate facade, and Wurlitzer organ.

Regal L.A Live has 14 auditoriums, such as the RealD Premiere Cinema, the ICE Immersive Experience with LED panels and luxury seats, and the first 4DX theater in the US. It opened in late 2009 and has been the venue for many premieres and events, like the Los Angeles Film Festival and the Screen Actors Guild Awards. TCL CHINESE THEATERS

A historic movie palace, TCL Chinese Theatres was established in 1927 by Sid Grauman, the owner of the nearby Egyptian Theatre. Its forecourt is renowned for the cement impressions of handprints, footprints, and signatures of Hollywood stars. The theater has been the venue for three Academy Awards ceremonies. In 2013, TCL Chinese became the only IMAX theatre in Hollywood and has one of the biggest screens in North America. It is a landmark of Hollywood culture and a favorite destination for tourists.


NEW BEVERLY CINEMA

The New Beverly Cinema is a historic and popular movie theater that opened in 1929 as a candy store and later hosted variety performers, nightclubs, and adult films. In 1978, it became a revival house, showing double features of classic, foreign, and independent films. It is one of the few remaining repertory cinemas in the country, and the last in Los Angeles. Since 2007, it has been owned by the filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who programs most of the films from his personal collection and only shows them on 35mm or 16mm prints. The New Beverly Cinema is a great place to enjoy the magic of cinema in a cozy and historic setting. 


PARAMOUNT DRIVE-IN

The Paramount Drive-in is a historic and popular movie theater. It opened in 1948 as the Roadium Drive-in, when the area was known as Clearwater. It was renamed the Paramount Drive-in in 1961 to avoid confusion with another Roadium Drive-in in Torrance. It features two 75-foot screens, digital laser projection, FM radio sound, an expanded food menu. It is one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in the Los Angeles area, and attracts moviegoers who enjoy the nostalgic and fun experience of watching films under the stars. The owner of the Paramount Drive-in is Glenn Bianchi.
